Evert van Hirtum

Evert Van Hirtum is an accomplished ICT Security Specialist at the European Parliament since June 2024, previously serving as an Experienced Senior Cyber Security Consultant at Deloitte from November 2020 to June 2024. With a background in cyber security consulting beginning in various roles at Deloitte, Evert also worked as a Front End Developer and Cloud Engineer at geoFluxus, where contributions included AWS architecture design and the development of an award-winning open-source web application. Evert's earlier experience includes roles in service desk management within the Flemish government and customer support at in2com. Evert holds a degree in Applied Information Technology from Odisee and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Guitar from Erasmushogeschool Brussel.
