Marieke Dekker

Marieke Dekker currently serves as the Deputy Secretary General for Renew Europe at the European Parliament, a position held since April 2020. Previously, Marieke was the Executive Director of External Affairs and a Member of the Executive Committee at VodafoneZiggo, overseeing corporate communication strategies and external relations. Marieke also held the role of Director of Public Affairs at ONL voor Ondernemers and worked as a Political Advisor and Communication Advisor at the European Parliament. Earlier career experiences include founding Masters of Ceremony and serving as Kandidaat-notaris at Van Wijmen Nouwen/Dekker Notarissen. Marieke holds a Master's degree in Law from Utrecht University and has completed executive education programs at INSEAD and IMD.
