Gianluca Chiozzi

Gianluca Chiozzi has extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in the field of telescope control system design and construction. Gianluca has worked on various projects related to raster image recognition and interpretation, as well as software tools for automatic interpretation of technological maps. In their current role at the European Southern Observatory, Gianluca is involved in multidisciplinary system activities and applies their expertise in Model Based System Engineering with the SysML modelling language. Gianluca is a key member of the core system engineering team, representing the control software perspective in projects such as the ELT project and the VLT project.
