Mr. Beck joined [Evercore](/org/evercore) in January 2020 from [Goldman Sachs](/org/goldman-sachs), where he advised and managed portfolios for high net worth clients including partners in the firm and financial services executives, and for family offices, foundations and endowments. He worked at [Goldman Sachs](/org/goldman-sachs) for seven years; he was earlier a trader at Edward Jones Investments, where he started his career in 2007.
