Erik Hughes has extensive experience in environmental underwriting and project management, currently serving as a Senior Environmental Underwriter II at Everest since March 2019, where responsibilities have included advancing through various underwriting roles. Prior to Everest, Erik worked at Viridian Inc from May 2013 to December 2018 as a Junior Project Manager and Environmental Scientist, managing over 50 site assessment and remediation projects while conducting fieldwork and writing technical reports. Erik's earlier experience includes roles in recruitment at Robert Walters, event organization with TEDx Gettysburg College, and internships focused on green roofing and energy. Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Gettysburg College and has participated in educational programs at the Danish Institute of Study Abroad.
