Michelle McConnell

Michelle McConnell is a seasoned professional in community relations with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Sr. Manager of Community Relations at Evergy since March 2015, Michelle previously held the position of Community Relations Manager at KCP&L from May 2011 to March 2015. Prior roles include Energy Efficiency Advocacy Analyst II and Program Manager at Kansas City Power & Light from May 2006 to September 2011, and Personal Lines Underwriter-Team Leader at Chubb from September 2002 to May 2006. Michelle began a career in the energy sector as a Sales and Marketing Intern at KCP&L from May 1997 to August 2002. Educationally, Michelle holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Missouri-Columbia, earned in 2001, and a BSBA in Marketing from the same institution, completed in 2001.
