Simon Tobio-Phillips

Simon Tobio-Phillips is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Sales, Bids and Projects Europe at MAN Energy Solutions since May 2019. Prior to this role, Simon held the position of Sales Manager at MAN Diesel & Turbo from June 2014 to May 2019, and served as Customer Service Manager at GE Power (formerly Alstom) from September 2011 to May 2014, where responsibilities included maximizing financial outcomes and managing power plant turnarounds. Simon's career began at GE Power as a Gas Turbine Systems Engineer from 2007 to 2011, leading R&D efforts for auxiliary systems and overseeing project engineering for combined cycle power plants in various international locations. Simon earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from both Tampere University of Technology and Universidade de Vigo.
