Michael Kern

Michael Kern currently serves as the VP CFO Operations at Evotec, where responsibilities include driving strategic initiatives across Finance, Procurement, IT, and Data, as well as leading a corporate-wide restructuring program aimed at improving annual EBITDA by over 40 million EUR. Prior to this role, Michael Kern was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, focusing on Life Sciences and leading multi-lever transformation projects across Europe, the US, and the Middle East. Michael Kern's career at McKinsey also included time as a Senior Consultant and Advisor to Executive Management at Welthungerhilfe, as well as participating in a short-term consultancy fellowship. Academic credentials include a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Physics from Ulm University, complemented by a study abroad experience at Macquarie University.
