Silvia Rosati

Silvia Rosati, PhD, currently serves as a Research Scientist in Cell Therapy and Development at Evotec since May 2023. Prior to this role, Silvia was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia from November 2020 to May 2023. Silvia's academic journey includes a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Galway (2014-2020) and an MSc in NeuroBiological Sciences from Sapienza Università di Roma (2010-2013), following a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the same institution (2006-2010). During a PhD research stint at NUI Galway, Silvia focused on the role of NRXN1α in neurodevelopmental disorders. Additionally, an internship at the Dept. of Molecular Medicine at Sapienza University involved investigating neuroprotective effects of Estrogen against β-amiloid peptide-induced neurotoxicity.
