Scott van Etten

Scott Van Etten has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Scott is currently working at Excelitas Technologies Corp. as the Head of Programs, Commercial BU, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Sr. Program Manager at the same company from October 2018 to September 2022.

Before joining Excelitas Technologies Corp., Scott was the Principal & Co-Founder of AVECON Consultoria LTDA, a role they held from September 2010 to October 2018.

Before their semiconductor roles, Scott worked at Infineon as a Sr. Knowledge Management Engineer from July 2004 to September 2006 and as a Sr. Material Supplier Quality Engineer from May 2001 to July 2004. Scott'sresponsibilities included developing and implementing new business processes for memory products customer returns and managing IT projects.

Scott's early career includes working at Brown & Williamson Tobacco, where they held various roles from July 1995 to May 2001. These roles included Production Superintendent, Process Engineer, and Engineering Management Trainee, where they gained experience in process improvements, product quality, and management training.

Scott Van Etten received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, completing their studies from 1993 to 1995. Before that, they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Engineering Science from the State University of New York - System, attending from 1991 to 1993. In addition to their educational background, they also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2018.
