Vinu Wijesekera

Vinu Wijesekera is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in various analytical and financial roles. Currently serving as a Senior Financial Analyst in Corporate Development at Extendicare since January 2024, Vinu previously held positions as Assistant Bookkeeper at Avenue 22 Bridal and Intern at World Financial Group. Vinu's earlier roles include Private Equity Associate and Private Equity Analyst at Tempest PE Partners Pvt. Ltd., as well as Analyst in the Analytics Unit of the Ministry of Economic Reforms and Public Distribution for the Government of Sri Lanka. Vinu gained foundational corporate finance experience through internships at PwC Sri Lanka and Malaysia, and Boston Consulting Group. An alumnus of Monash University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Applied Economics and Finance, Vinu also holds a Postgraduate Degree in Financial Planning and Services from Humber College.
