Doron Paz

Doron Paz is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles across prominent companies in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at Extreme Networks since January 2023, Doron previously held the position of Vice President of Global R&D at DZS, overseeing a global team of over 350 members and managing a budget exceeding $40 million. Notably, Doron has played key roles in product development and operational optimization at System73® as CTO & VP Engineering, and at Zhone Technologies as VP Engineering, guiding significant advancements in embedded software and network management solutions. Early career experience includes a managerial role at Nortel Networks, focusing on software development for access networks. Doron holds a degree in Engineering, specializing in Electronic Information Systems, from the University of Regina.
