Caitlin Kalinowski

Caitlin Kalinowski is the current head of AR hardware at Meta. Caitlin has previously worked as a head of VR hardware at Oculus VR from February 2013 to March 2022, and as a product design engineer at Apple from April 2007 to January 2013. Kalinowski has also worked as a product design engineer at OQO from October 2005 to April 2007.

Caitlin Kalinowski received a PhD, Honoris Causa, in the field of Doctor of Humane Letters from the University of Indianapolis. Caitlin also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.

Caitlin Kalinowski reports to Andrew Bosworth, CTO. They work with Ryan Cairns - Head of Portal, Erick Tseng - Director of Product Management, and Santosh Janardhan - VP, Engineering & Infrastructure.
