Eleanor Thibeaux

Eleanor Thibeaux is the Sound Design Manager at Meta. Eleanor has over three years of experience in audio production, leading Facebook's Immersive Audio group dedicated to audio development for augmented, virtual, and mixed reality experiences.

Eleanor has a proven track record in managing end-to-end audio production, including asset development pipelines, coordination of technical implementation, and cross-discipline communication management. Eleanor is also an expert in audio design for production and development hardware and software platforms.

Under Eleanor's leadership, the AR audio design team at Facebook was established through the development of process and pipeline, cross-functional team communication, and defined role responsibilities in an evolving technology space. Eleanor actively built and led a production team working in AR, VR, and 360 spatial audio design, creating common through-lines for task management, workflows, and production language.

Eleanor is a highly skilled manager of people and resources, with a deep understanding of the audio production process. Eleanor is a creative problem solver with a passion for delivering high quality audio experiences.

Eleanor Thibeaux studied sound arts at Ex'pression College for Digital Arts, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree.
