Patrice George

Patrice George has extensive experience in the field of textiles, serving as a Consultant in Woven Textiles at Patrice George Designs since March 1979. Additionally, Patrice has been a dedicated Member of Complex Weavers since 1980 and contributed to academia as an Associate Professor in the Textile Development and Marketing Department at the Fashion Institute of Technology from January 2003 until retirement. In 1994, Patrice served as a Fulbright guest instructor at Taideteollinen korkeakoulu (Aalto University). Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Fashion and Textile Studies: History, Theory, Museum Practice from the Fashion Institute of Technology, obtained between 2009 and 2015, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art from the University of Michigan, completed in 1970.
