Simon B. Charles Hemkes

Simon B. Charles Hemkes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2020, they founded a beverage brand called Finster, which focused on promoting alcohol-free alternatives in bars and clubs. Simon B. Charles developed a natural cocktail concentrate based on botanicals, coffee, sugar, and fruits. Prior to that, in 2019, Simon worked as a Supply Chain & Sustainability Advisor at Inspira Specialty Coffee and as a Consultant for Standard Development & Revision at the Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM). Simon B. Charles also has experience in sales and customer service, having worked as a Sales & Customer Service Representative at PWL Peter W. Lampke GmbH & Co. KG, a logistics company. Simon also completed professional training in maritime logistics management at the same company. Additionally, they have internship experience at Azur Dialogmarketing. More recently, Simon has been working at Faye since 2020, first as a Project Manager responsible for integrating and enhancing CRM systems, and later as a Product Manager focusing on data integration and visualization software-as-a-service solutions for CX platforms. Simon B. Charles collaborates closely with stakeholders, reports to the VP of Product, and handles product discovery, scoping, feature prioritization, client communication, and sales enablement.

Simon B. Charles Hemkes has a diverse education history. In 2004 to 2012, they attended Gymnasium an der Hamburger Str. and obtained their Abitur degree. From 2013 to 2015, they enrolled in Berufsschule für den Großhandel, Außenhandel + Verkehr Bremen, majoring in Maritime Logistics Management. Following that, they pursued Global Management at HSB Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences from 2016 to 2020. During the same period, they also studied Economics and International Business at Universidad EAFIT.

In addition to their formal education, Simon obtained several certifications. In March 2022, they earned the PSPO I - Professional Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum.org. In October 2022, they completed the Bartender Profesional program at Instituto del Cóctel. Most recently, in November 2022, they participated in the Growth Series offered by Reforge.
