Sara Eliasi-Swahn

Sara Eliasi-Swahn is a seasoned professional in leadership and cooperation, specializing in crisis management and peace operations. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist and Head of Unit at the Folke Bernadotte Academy since September 2022, Sara brings extensive experience from various organizations, including roles at Plan International Sweden as a Senior Business Development Manager and Head of Africa and Middle East Unit, and the UNDP as a Senior Advisor and Crisis Management Advisor. Previous positions also include significant contributions to UNICEF, the Norwegian Refugee Council, and the International Rescue Committee. Academically, Sara holds a Master of Science in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford and multiple degrees in peace and development studies and international business administration from Växjö University, as well as a bachelor's degree in International Management.
