Annette Parks

Annette Parks is a seasoned aerospace engineer and space licensing principal at Zeno Power, with a distinguished career at the Federal Aviation Administration since December 2014, where roles have included leading licensing efforts and ensuring public health, safety, and national security through the evaluation of commercial space license applications. Experience at the FAA encompasses safety inspection and operational integration, focusing on the regulation of commercial space transportation activities. Annette co-founded and edited Astropreneurs, and served as a mechanical engineering teaching fellow at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where responsibilities included leading discussions and mentoring students. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and completion of the Space Studies Program at the International Space University. Prior internships at GE Transportation and GE Healthcare provided foundational engineering and technical writing experience.
