Chris Blakeney

Chris Blakeney has extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as a Senior Examiner for Large Financial Institutions at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since September 2015. Previous roles include Senior Risk Examiner and Financial Institutions Examiner at FDIC, and Assistant Vice President at Community Bank of Mississippi from September 2013 to September 2015. Early career experience includes a position as a Teller at Hancock Bank and as a Student Equipment Manager at the University of Southern Mississippi. Chris holds a Master of Science in Sports Management from the University of Southern Mississippi, completed in 2013, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from the same institution, awarded in 2012. Additional education includes graduation from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking in 2023.
