Kristin Butcher

Kristin Butcher serves as the Vice President and Director of Microeconomic Research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago since May 2022, while also holding the position of Marshall I. Goldman Professor of Economics at Wellesley College since July 2006. Prior to her current role at the Federal Reserve, Kristin Butcher was the Director of the Center on Children and Families at The Brookings Institution from July 2021 to May 2022. Kristin Butcher earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Princeton University.
