Jonathan C. Basden is the current Group Vice President at Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Prior to this, they were an Adjunct Instructor at McKendree University from January 2001 to May 2001, where they developed and taught an undergraduate course on "Computer Science in the Classroom." Jonathan was also an Adjunct Instructor at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from August 2000 to December 2001, where they taught graduate courses on "Institutional Contexts for Technology" and "Instructional Software Design." Finally, they were a Teacher / Coach at Highland Community Unit School District (CUSD) 5 from August 1997 to June 2002, where they taught 7th grade math; 7th & 8th grade technology; and high school web design, desktop publishing, & business. Jonathan also coached 6th grade boys basketball, 8th grade girls basketball, and high school freshman wrestling. In addition, they developed and delivered teacher training sessions on various topics related to the integration of technology into instruction.

Jonathan C. Basden has earned a MBA from McKendree University, an ABD Ed.D. from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in Educational Technology, an M.S.Ed. from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Instructional Technology, a B.S. from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Elementary Education, and a Diploma from Pittsfield High School.
