Daniel Beltran is the current Deputy Associate Director at the Federal Reserve. Daniel has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, working as a Quantitative Analyst, Senior Financial Analyst, and more.

Daniel Beltran began their career in 1999 as a Senior Financial Analyst at Dixie Toga. Daniel then moved to General Motors in 2001, where they prepared economic forecasts for the CEO and management. In 2006, they left General Motors to work as a Quantitative Analyst at Barclays. There, they developed Bayesian Dynamic Linear Models to forecast Emerging Market exchange rates, GARCH models to forecast volatility, affine and latent factor models to forecast yield curves. Daniel also conducted simulations of hypothetical trades using past data to identify profitable trading strategies. In June 2007, Daniel Beltran left Barclays to join the Federal Reserve.

At the Federal Reserve, Daniel Beltran has held various positions including Deputy Associate Director. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Federal Reserve and providing guidance on monetary policy.

Daniel Beltran received their PhD in International Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
