Alex Petros

Alex Petros is an experienced attorney and policy advisor with a strong focus on antitrust and competition law. Currently serving as Attorney Advisor in the Anticompetitive Practices II Division at the Federal Trade Commission since February 2023, Alex is engaged in significant litigation involving Amazon. Previously, Alex worked in the FTC's Office of Policy Planning, addressing issues related to franchise practices, labor policy, healthcare consolidation, and agricultural competition. At Public Knowledge, from February 2020 to February 2023, Alex specialized in digital platform competition and authored several informative blogs. Early career experience includes roles in the judiciary staff for Senators Amy Klobuchar and Richard Blumenthal, as well as internships focusing on health policy and civil rights.
