Peter Germain

As chief legal officer of Federated Hermes, Inc., Peter Germain plays a strategic role in the company's legal and regulatory initiatives, and also oversees the internal audit, compliance and risk functions of the firm. Peter also serves as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of the company. He has been with the company since 1984 and was appointed chief legal officer in 2017. Peter is also an adjunct professor of law at Duquesne University's School of Law.
