Troy Busse

Troy Busse is currently the Director of Engineering, Integrations at Feedonomics. Prior to that, they worked as a software engineer for Age of Learning, Inc. / ABCmouse.com from August 2016 to March 2019. There, they were responsible for writing and maintaining PHP 5.3 and PHP 7 codebase, as well as writing and maintaining MySQL queries, Couchbase documents, and SOLR Fusion documents. Troy was also responsible for object-oriented development within a web services platform, discovering the Web Services needs on their team and projects, and designing static endpoints and agreeing on a contract with Unity and Angular developers. In addition, they developed functional endpoints against a strong set of coding and documentation standards and conventions, designed and implemented performant MySql database, Couchbase, and SOLR Fusion schemas to support new and changed functionality, delivered quality code supported by good documentation and tests, ensured the quality of code for peers, and created the backend infrastructure end-to-end for a new reading application with a small team. Troy Busse began their career in 2011 as a QA Applications Programmer at Activision before moving to their current role.

Troy Busse received a Bachelor's degree in Game and Simulation Programming from DeVry University. Prior to that, they attended Highland High School.
