Paulo Marques

Prior to the inception of Feedzai, Paulo was Co-Director of the Carnegie Mellon University Portugal Program on Software Engineering, and held a dual appointment between Carnegie Melon University and the University of Coimbra.

In 2011, Paulo, along with his fellow co-founders Nuno Sebastiao and Pedro Bizarro, established Feedzai to fight financial fraud with advanced machine learning technology.

Paulo is a member of the Forbes Technology Council and has managed major projects for the European Space Agency, Microsoft Research, and Siemens. Paulo holds a PhD in Distributed Systems from the University of Coimbra and has authored over 40 peer-reviewed papers and a best-selling book on C# programming. Paulo is responsible for Feedzai’s overall product development and technology strategy.
