Fernando Crespo Alvarez

Fernando Crespo Alvarez is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Regulatory, Quality and Safety (Pharmacovigilance) Director for Latin America and Canada at Ferring Pharmaceuticals since April 2014. In this role, Fernando leads the implementation of a Regulatory Affairs Shared Services organization to optimize product registrations while ensuring compliance with global and local regulations. Fernando has held progressive positions at Ferring, including Associate Director and Regulatory Affairs Manager, where responsibilities included representing the LATAM Regulatory Affairs Region and developing regional strategies. Prior experience includes regulatory roles at Genzyme Argentina and Filaxis Laboratories, along with a foundational role as Clinical Trial Coordinator at Organon Laboratories. Fernando holds a degree in Biology with a focus on Molecular Biology from the University of Buenos Aires.
