Minna Koivula

Minna Koivula has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Minna started their career as a Cook and Customer Cervant in different restaurants from 1995 to 2000. Later, they worked as a Chef and Storage Bookkeeper at Select Service Partner Finland Oy, where they were responsible for program implementation, training, documentation, and supervision from 2001 to 2005. Minna then joined Tieto as a Software Developer, where they focused on planning, programming, and testing systems for the Finnish Tax Administration from 2006 to 2015. After that, Minna worked at the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation as a Wheelchair Basketball Referee from 2004 to 2021. Minna also worked as a Video Operator at FIBA, collecting video data and assisting referee instructors during tournaments from 2017 onwards. Currently, Minna is employed at CGI, where they hold the roles of Analyst, Product Owner, and Specialist. Their work as a specialist involves defining, testing, documenting, organizing, and customer support, while also taking on service manager duties. Minna is motivated by finding better ways of doing things and believes in continuous improvement.

Minna Koivula obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Technology from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned another Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from JAMK University of Applied Sciences from 1997 to 2001.

Additionally, they have obtained a certification in EF Level 14 - Advanced - CEFR Level C1 (General English) from EF Education First in July 2017.
