Jay Foolchand

Jay Foolchand is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in investment compliance and regulatory risk management. As Associate Director of Investment Compliance Advisory at Fidelity International since July 2017, Jay provides comprehensive front office controls and advice to Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts. Prior to this role, Jay served as Senior Manager in the same department at Newton Investment Management from May 2009 to June 2017, where responsibilities included chairing the Governance Committee for the Cash Oversight Group and participating in various oversight committees. Jay's career at Newton began in 2007, progressing from Trade Operations Administrator to Trade Confirmations Coordinator, and finally to Compliance Analyst, where Jay contributed to monitoring regulatory risks. Jay holds an MSc in Exercise Physiology and a BSc in Chemistry & Sports Science, both from Loughborough University.
