Pavlos Tranakidis

Pavlos Tranakidis is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as the Head of Investment Risk and Head of Market Risk and Stress Testing at Fidelity International since November 2020. Prior to this role, Pavlos held various senior positions at Goldman Sachs Asset Management from August 2009 to June 2020, including Chief Risk Officer of GSAM International and Head of the independent Market Risk team in London. Pavlos also served as the Market Risk Manager, establishing a market risk team in Bangalore, and as a key risk professional in EMEA. Earlier in the career, Pavlos worked as a Market Risk Analyst at JPMorgan Chase. Educational qualifications include an MSc in financial mathematics from The University of Edinburgh and a Master of Engineering in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the National Technical University of Athens.
