Rebecca Salsbury is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at the Financial Times since May 2023. Prior to this role, Salsbury founded Rebecca Salsbury Consulting Ltd, providing consultancy on digital product lifecycle and technology transformation from March 2021 to February 2024. Salsbury has extensive experience in the media sector, having held various senior leadership positions at the BBC from 2009 to 2020, including Deputy Director of BBC Platform. Additional roles include consulting for Voice At The Table Diversity and Inclusion Consultancy and working with Capablue and BSkyB in project management and consulting capacities. Salsbury holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics & Computing Education and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Maine.
