Diego Castañeda

Diego Castañeda has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Diego began their career at S&C Advertising and Public Relations where they worked as an Account Executive, providing solutions and support to clients. Diego then joined Pantaleon Sugar Holdings, where they served as a Systems Analyst, responsible for identifying and analyzing business requirements and developing software applications.

Diego then moved on to become the IT Manager at Pantaleon Sugar Holdings, where they implemented a Helpdesk solution and established an IT governance committee. Diego also developed a system for displaying key performance indicators and improved decision-making processes.

Diego later worked at Xerox as a Project Manager, overseeing information technology projects for clients. Diego directed resources, monitored budgets, and ensured project delivery and customer satisfaction.

In 2013, Diego joined (MILVIK) BIMA as a Country Manager, where they successfully launched the company's first operation in Latin America. Diego scaled up the business and operations and was responsible for meeting subscriber targets and cost efficiency initiatives. Diego also held the roles of Regional Manager Latin America and Regional Technology Operations Manager at BIMA, driving performance, growth, and fostering knowledge sharing within the region.

Diego's most recent position is with FINCA Impact Finance, where they currently serve as the Director of Global Shared Services. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Regional Information Technology - LAC.

Diego Castañeda completed a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from St. Mary's University from 1999 to 2003. Subsequently, they pursued an International MBA in Strategy and Finance from IE Business School from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they briefly attended The George Washington University School of Business in 2010, where they pursued a degree in Project Management (MCPM).
