Gabriel Emile Hine is a Senior Algorithms and Systems Design Engineer at Fingerprint Cards since April 2020, specializing in iris recognition and algorithm development, with four patents filed on face/iris liveness detection. Previously, Gabriel served as a PhD and Postdoc at Università degli Studi di Roma Tre from October 2015 to April 2020, focusing on anonymous biometrics and receiving the EAB research award, in addition to delivering selected lectures on signal theory and biometric systems. An internship at Telefónica involved a longitudinal study of 4chan's politically incorrect forum, resulting in a widely covered paper.
