Rana Hassan Bilal is currently the Head of Operations & Projects for an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) at Finja. Prior to this, they were with FINCA Microfinance Bank Ltd in Pakistan as Sr. Manager Operations & New Initiative Support for Digital Financial Services. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures as well as SBP regulations for smooth conduct of branchless banking operations. This included managing activities such as wallet opening, complaint and request handling, card operations, verification visits, sales support, readiness for internal/external audits, and UAT of products.
Before joining FINCA, Rana Hassan Bilal was with Bank Alfalah Limited as Assistant Manager Operations Branchless Banking. In this role, they were responsible for leading branchless banking activities including wallet opening (Individual, Payroll, and agents), complaint and request handling, card operations, and UAT of products.
Rana Hassan Bilal started their career in the banking industry with Tameer Micro Finance Bank as Associate Manager Operations Branchless Banking. In this role, they were responsible for managing branchless banking operations and ensuring compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures.
Rana Hassan Bilal has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the Institute of Management Sciences and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from Punjab Colleges.
A direct report to Rana Hassan Bilal is and Hafiz Shuja Rehman - EMI Technical Manager. They are on a team with Umer Abid - Production Manager, Syed Farhan Ahmed - Administration Manager, and Fatima Malik - Program Manager. Rana Hassan Bilal reports to Umer Munawar, COO & Co-Founder.
