Colleen Bell

Colleen Bell is the managing director at Finsbury Glover Hering. Colleen previously worked as a legislative director for the United States Senate from June 2017 to October 2021. Prior to that, they were a senior policy advisor for the U.S. House of Representatives from January 2009 to April 2012, where they handled matters related to health care, energy, education and labor policies. From April 2012 to June 2017, they served as a legislative counsel for the United States Senate, advising on health care policy, judiciary matters, and military justice issues. Before that, they were a field organizer for the Ohio Democratic Party from July 2008 to December 2008, and an assistant public defender in New Hampshire from June 2007 to June 2008.

Colleen Bell received their Juris Doctor (J.D.) from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English from the University of Notre Dame.

They are on a team with Lars Anderson - Partner, Katharine Pitt - Director, and Ruth Porter - Managing Director. Colleen Bell reports to Alexander Geiser, Managing Partner & Global CEO.
