Lauren Myers is an experienced HR professional currently serving as a Region Business Partner at Fire and Emergency NZ since May 2018. In this role, Lauren integrates the organizational people strategy with business strategy and regional plans, acting as a strategic advisor to the Region Leadership Team. Previously, Lauren held various positions within Fire and Emergency NZ, such as Region People Services Manager and Senior HR Advisor, where responsibilities included aligning people practices with business strategies and providing HR solutions to a large workforce. Lauren's prior experience includes roles at Dunedin City Council, where contributions focused on organization development, health and safety, and strategic HR projects, as well as HR support roles at Silver Fern Farms Ltd and the Ministry of Education of New Zealand. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Management from the University of Otago.
