Security company FireEye, Inc. has announced the appointment of Bryan Palma as Executive Vice President of FireEye Products. Mr. Palma’s role will be to lead the company’s product team, develop its product portfolio and optimize SaaS security controls offerings.
“Bryan is an experienced product leader with deep operational and security expertise, along with a passion for protecting customers in the cyber domain,” said FireEye Chief Executive Officer Kevin Mandia. “He will draw upon this experience to accelerate the momentum of our products business and offer customers the most innovative security products available – in the cloud, on prem, or protecting hybrid environments. He will play a key role in executing on our vision to become a seamless extension of our customers’ security programs.”
Mr. Palma comes to FireEye from Blackberry, where, as President and COO, he was an influential figure in transforming the business into a $1B security company. He has more than 20 years of security experience, including as a special agent with the U.S. Secret Service, and with notable companies such as Boeing, Hewlett Packard, PepsiCo, and Cisco.
