Michael Pilnick

Michael Pilnick is the Chief Human Resources Officer NA & ASPAC at Wolters Kluwer. Michael has held this position since January 2008. Prior to that, they were the Senior Vice President Human Resources at Harcourt Education from January 2006 to December 2007. Michael also served as the Senior Vice President Human Resources at Columbia House from January 2000 to December 2005.

Pilnick has over 20 years of experience working in human resources and has been a partner at GDG Consulting LLC, where they worked with C-suite executives in helping to integrate organizations as a result of mergers and acquisitions, build high performing senior leadership teams, aligning senior teams with the business strategy and accelerating their transitions into new leadership roles.

Michael is also a trusted advisor to senior executives, coaching them through organizational and individual change, key business challenges, and career and role transitions. In addition to their consulting work, Pilnick has also focused on recruiting process outsourcing and the strategic repositioning of talent acquisition for both efficiency and overall effectiveness in a range of organizations that are reevaluating their overall strategy and cost structure.

Michael Pilnick received a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from The New School. Michael also holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Cultural Anthropology and US Theirtory from the University of Arizona. Pilnick is a graduate of Gill St Bernard's High School.
