Matthew Vargo

Matthew Vargo is a Consumer Banker at First Financial Bank, a position held since January 2024. Previously, Matthew has been self-employed in lawn work since May 2013, focusing on lawn mowing and landscaping. With experience as a Civic Fellow for the Close Up Foundation from September 2022 to August 2023, Matthew educated middle and high school students on civic engagement. A Development Assistant at Catholic Charities USA from April 2022 to August 2022 involved marketing and fundraising efforts. Additional roles include a Delivery Assistant for UPS during the holiday season in late 2021, Digital Director for Valparaiso University Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia from September 2020 to May 2021, and a Summer Photographer at Spring Hill Camp in June 2020. Prior experiences include positions as a Valet Attendant at Community Hospital and an Associate at Walmart. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in International Business and German from Valparaiso University, after studying at Reutlingen University. Matthew graduated from Illiana Christian High School in June 2017.
