Meka Asonye is a partner at First Round Capital. Meka was previously the VP of Global Sales and Services at Mixpanel from January 2020 to December 2021. Prior to that, they were the Head of Sales and Customer Success, Startup / SMB at Stripe from January 2015 to December 2020. Meka started their career at Bain & Company as a Case Team Leader from January 2013 to December 2015. Meka also worked for the Cleveland Indians as a Player Development & Baseball Operations from January 2007 to December 2011.

Meka Asonye has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, from Princeton University in the field of Economics and Finance. Meka also has a certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in Instrument-rated Private Pilot (Sea and Land).
