Dave Gilleland

Dave Gilleland has extensive experience in the energy sector, having worked for FirstEnergy from 1986 to the present, where roles included Advisor for Strategic Initiatives in Energy Delivery Smart Metering and various managerial positions in Transaction & Contract Management. Prior to retiring from FirstEnergy, leadership was demonstrated in areas such as Electric Management Practice and Contract Management. Gilleland also held the position of Manager in Utility Risk Management at Enron Energy Services for a brief period in 2001 and was the Owner/President of SES, Inc. from 2000 to 2001. Gilleland earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati between 1984 and 1989.
