Prashanth Nandella

Prashanth Nandella is the Chief Operating Officer at Firstsource. He is responsible for the successful execution of our long-term growth plans through building an agile and resilient global delivery footprint enabling digital transformation in line with our Digital First, Digital Now approach, and developing new-age capabilities while enhancing employee experience.

Prashanth brings with him extensive insight on global operations including a proven record of driving transformational change and building high performing teams without losing sight of the customer needs. Prashanth has over 20 years of experience across various domains with renowned brands viz. Cognizant, DE Shaw, UBS, HP, GE, and Citi. Before joining Firstsource, he was associated with Cognizant for a decade where he was an integral part of the evolution of Business Process Services. Most recently he was leading Global delivery for BFSI and P&R verticals and was also the Center lead for the largest BPM location and 2nd largest delivery location for Cognizant.

An alumnus of IIT Madras and IIM Calcutta, Prashanth is a disruptive thought leader and is well known in the industry for his ability to design creative business solutions for clients with a digital mindset.

Prashanth is a passionate volunteer and actively participates in community service initiatives. He is a firm believer in self-sustaining community development programs that translate into better education, respectable earning opportunity, and holistic wellness of the people in the communities that we live in. Prashanth holds honorary positions in various industry forums in Hyderabad. He is a Member of the Management Committee in Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) and Member of American Chamber of Commerce in India (AMCHAM India). He is also an active participant in the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) focused on the safety and security of citizens.

He is a formula one racing and soccer enthusiast. Married to Neelima, they have two sons Praneet & Pranav.
