Martina Zafferani

Martina Zafferani, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist I in Molecular Biology at Flagship Pioneering since June 2023, previously serving as a Scientist II in Target and Drug Discovery. At Pfizer from April 2022 to July 2023, Martina was the first member of the RNA production and discovery team, where the development and streamlining of the DNA and RNA production pipeline for mRNA screening and evaluation took place. Prior experience includes a Teaching Assistant role in the analytical chemistry laboratory at Duke University, where a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry/Biochemistry was earned from August 2017 to April 2022, along with previous educational roles and responsibilities at Albion College, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry.
