Ryan Lumpkin

Ryan Lumpkin is a Senior Scientist II in Proteomics at Flagship Pioneering, having transitioned from a role as Senior Scientist at Dana Farber Cancer Research Institute, where work involved mass spectrometry. Prior to these positions, Ryan was a doctoral researcher at University of California San Diego, focusing on ASB9 and SUMO projects while mentoring graduate students and engaging in various research tasks, including programming and proteomics. Ryan began the academic journey as an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Denver and holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from UC San Diego, as well as a B.S. in the same field from the University of Denver. Additional experience includes a role as a photo editor for the University of Denver Clarion.
