Habeeb Saleh, Ph.D., DABR, currently serves as the Director of Medical Physics at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute since December 2020. Prior positions include Chief Medical Physicist at the University of Kansas Medical Center from January 2012 to December 2020, and Assistant Professor and VA Chief of Physics at Virginia Commonwealth University from January 2006 to December 2011. Additionally, Habeeb Saleh completed a Medical Physics Residency at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from January 2004 to December 2006 and worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc., from October 1997 to January 2004. Early career experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the National Academy of Sciences from August 1995 to September 1997. Habeeb Saleh holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering acquired at Texas A&M University from 1991 to 1995, a Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University (1989-1990), and a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Baghdad (1982-1987).
