Katherine Martin

Katherine Martin, CHIA, is the Assistant Director of Career Development at Florida International University, where since October 2014, a focus has been on counseling over 1,400 undergraduate and graduate hospitality students and alumni in career goal development, resume and cover letter creation, and interview preparation. In addition, Katherine designs strategic learning materials and career readiness events aimed at improving job placement rates among senior students. Previous experience includes roles as Career Development Coordinator at Florida International University, Training Employee Relations Coordinator at Loews Hotels, Owner Relations Manager at Trump International Beach Resort, and High Complexity Partner Advocate at Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd. Katherine holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Florida International University, along with an Associate of Arts in Hospitality Management from Miami Dade College.
