Tito Cortés

Tito Cortés has extensive experience in management and operational roles across various industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Order Handling & Execution for the SAMER Region at FLSmidth since January 2020, Tito has previously held the position of Manager for Management Control & Operational Excellence within the same company. Prior to FLSmidth, Tito was the Manager of Risk & Control at CODELCO from June 2016 to December 2019. Tito's earlier career at Anglo American spanned over 13 years, where roles included Manager of Management Control, Strategic Planning & Asset Optimization, Finance & Business Administration, and Planning & Management Control. Tito also worked at ExxonMobil as Manager of Project Services and Finance & Business Administration. Tito holds a degree in Civil Industrial Engineering from Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria and completed a Master's degree program at Stellenbosch University in 1996.
