Carlos MacIel

Carlos Maciel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and engineering, particularly within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at Fluence since January 2022, Carlos previously held roles as a Senior Product Engineer at Trina Solar, focusing on Battery Energy Storage Systems for utility-scale projects. Prior experience includes a position as a Senior Systems Engineer at Rolls-Royce Solutions Berlin GmbH, where Carlos contributed to the development of AC Enclosure Battery Energy Storage Systems, and as an Electrical Project Engineer at GE Power, managing projects in renewable energy and other industries. Carlos holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and HSB Hochschule Bremen.
