FluroSat Names Gabriel Wilmoth an Independent Board Director
Crop analytics company FluroSat has added Gabriel Wilmoth to its board as an independent director. "We are thrilled to have Gabriel join FluroSat as we expand our footprint across the United States and into South American markets," said FluroSat CEO Dr Anastasia Volkova. "We put great emphasis on delivering best-in-class customer experience together with timely crop insights and recommendations. Gabriel's unique perspective from working with multiple, fast-growing agtech firms will help us scale sustainably and serve our customers even better." Prior to joining FluroSat, Mr. Wilmoth served as COO of precision ag company Growers, where he helped raise $12 million from investors, expanded its acres under management five-fold, and negotiated a successful acquisition by ICL. "Two things I always look for in companies I work with are real agronomic value creation and an incredible team," said Mr. Wilmoth. "The powerhouse team at FluroSat has solved several pain points for crop advisors. Their FluroSense platform provides agronomists with easy-to-use, real-time, field-specific crop insights, like N recommendations, without all the tedious data entry. It enables better recommendations at scale and helps monitor the impacts. I feel excited to work with FluroSat and to help them accelerate the broader adoption of precision agriculture."
