Veronique Merriam Barbosa is the Co-Founder and CEO of Flux. Veronique was previously the Head of Partnerships at Revolut, one of Europe's fastest-growing Financial Technology startups. During their time at Revolut, they were responsible for business development and communications with the objective of driving user acquisition. The company scaled from 45,000 to 250,000+ users during their tenure.

Before Revolut, Barbosa worked as a Logistics Intern at Start-Up Loans UK. Veronique also worked as a Debt Capital Markets Origination at Morgan Stanley, where they focused on daily client coverage, derivatives execution and identifying arbitrage opportunities. Veronique was responsible for groundbreaking deals such as the return of the peripheral sovereigns to the market in 2014, EFSF’s largest deal to date (€8 Bn 5-year in 2014) and all of the World Bank’s syndicated Green Bonds.

Veronique Merriam Barbosa has a BSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a Masters in International Management from HEC Paris, and a Masters in Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Veronique also has an International Baccalaureate from the Anglo-American School of Moscow.
